I have footage somwhere from a real unique pike. The pikes in game atm are merely 3 year old pikes.Ī real trophy pike should be close to 1m and would weigh around 10Kg. ![]() from one of my dives for the dev's with a real fully grown pike on it. ![]() I know they are bigger in RL, dunno where i posted it but I did post a vid. Now, thinking realistically, in a lake as big as Emerald Lake, how many such big pike can survive? 3, maybe 4 (don't forget that big pike is very teritorial), more than that being impossible.Īs far as i know, from old discussions with developers, a new waterway will have big (much bigger!) pike, also, for thrill seekers, large muskie. Official information is that biggest pike in the game could be around 26.5 lb. A real trophy starts from somewhere around 12 lb., with monsters/unique around 20 lb. northern pike is not a trophy, is a "teenager". In this weather your best bet at getting a good catch is fishing very early in the morning and late in the evening, when the sun is low enough and fish are most active. Now, back to main question: honestly, a 4 lb. ![]() It is an old and almost forgotten naming bug! :) The thing with it is that it's wrongly named. Below its surface swim trophy walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass. Originally posted by Corsaxx:There is a trophy northern pike in the game.
